• Transient (TEOAEs): From stimulating the cochlea with a transient signal or with a tone.
• Distortion Product (DPOAEs): From stimulating the cochlea with two tones of different frequency.
• Spontaneous (SOAEs): Recorded at the absence of any stimulus.
• Stimulus - Frequency (SFOAEs): From stimulating the cochlea with a low level tone over a specific frequency range.
